Ava Dominick

Hi, I’m Ava. I love talking to people who are building something they believe in, especially when understanding their idea sends me down a rabbit hole of my own. Lately, I’ve been thinking about financial-crime investigations, crypto, and the questions that come with trusting AI agents with our money.

At Stripe, the work I’ve enjoyed most has started with a question I couldn’t leave alone. Why was an account restricted? Why did a payment keep failing? Following those questions has meant digging into business models and working with risk and engineering teams. It has also helped me understand what I want to do next: investigate financial crime, particularly where new technology makes the answers harder to find.

Experience

Stripe

2025–present

Sales Development Representative · Money Management

I help businesses assess and integrate crypto products. My work spans customer qualification, funds-flow review, early-access fit, and account-restriction escalations with risk teams. I use Jira to coordinate cases, troubleshoot APIs and access configuration, and write technical documentation that helps teams navigate integrations.

I traced a recurring payment failure to a missing feature flag in an onboarding workflow. The initial explanation was customer drop-off, but the errors I encountered during test purchases didn’t fit. I worked through API responses, error messages, documentation, and conversations with technical teams to connect two apparently different failures to the same configuration gap.

I exceeded quota in all four quarterly periods and sourced 77 opportunities across enterprise and specialist product teams, including 18 enterprise opportunities and flagship prospects with projected multimillion-dollar deal values. Alongside building that pipeline, I reviewed funds flows, coordinated risk escalations, and investigated integration failures.
